Template Hardware Drilling Adjustable Installation Review

Item came in a fancy bag. I would prefer you lose your bag and send a piece of paper with a few simple instructions. We are not all master carpenters

for the price it's ok but i won't use it. I got conflicting results and it left marks in my closets. I started using masking tape to protect the cabinets but then decided to use something else to mark and drill the holes.

Overall this worked pretty well for installing new hardware in my closets. However, the main issue we encountered was the plumb/level of the two holes. I had to check every hole/mark with a spirit level to be sure. I assume it was the pressure. But overall the installation was easier than measuring each door.

This item is good for contouring but being plastic it will bend. I didn't measure the first few holes I made after that just to make sure they were about 1/8 inch wrong because the plastic flexed when I held it in place. I'm not saying it's terrible, I would suggest otherwise. a bit sturdier although it did the job.

We had to install a set of handles and drawers in the kitchen and several bathrooms. Although I have standard size (128mm) handles, a cheap plexiglass drawer template doesn't work for me. But this device worked great. Very flexible and stayed on track throughout the job. This was pretty easy to figure out, although I've never used a drawer template before.

Very good quality. CM and inches for accuracy. Color and numbers are great. I have another one that I paid $25 more for and this one is even better quality. I like the case too. Very creative. Also included is a drill. Everything together costs a lot more. I've used it several times for 2 projects and it's great.

I gave 3 stars because I like the idea, but it wasn't easy for me to use. The screws that are supposed to hold the holes weren't tight enough and I had to tighten them multiple times. I also wish it had some balance to ensure it stands squarely on top of the crates. Also, the plastic that is supposed to hold the tool over the box isn't long enough and keeps falling off. at least not optimally.

I received the cabinet template on the estimated time and started fitting my daughter's kitchen cabinet handles the same day. I am very satisfied with the tool, it is very easy and quick to drill the necessary holes. My only minor complaint is that fitting the sliding floor panel was very fiddly and resulted in some of the plastic tape with the markings on it coming off. I noticed this early on and was able to reattach the tape. I then installed from the other end with a little more effort. It…
