When hitting 0 / 1000

Looks good, installs beautifully. I can't open the web interface, the tech support site keeps telling me I did catchpa wrong, so there is no support. Sent back for a replacement, hope the replacement works, otherwise get its return city and something else :( Will update once the replacement arrives. Got the replacement and same thing, web interface doesn't open. This time I used a port scanner and I only found 2 open ports 22 and 43 which are SSH and RLogin both use default username and…

take something else The thing pulls!

So you're saying it's a fast machine, quad-core with 1GB RAM that should be fine for basic stuff like a Plex server or simple storage. Right out of the box, once it's running forever, the RAM is tied to a 100% usage and pretty much stays there. I restarted the OS 2 days later with maximum RAM and still the same. I tried Plex, and when it finally downloaded my library, which took about a day, I launched Plex and waited hours for the first song to finally play. I gave up and after a few hours I…

Good price but slower than expected

I bought this product a few months ago for my first home NAS. I installed two server-grade HGST Ultrastar 7K3000 drives in a RAID 1 configuration. The goal was to save some old TV shows and movies for streaming through Plex. First, I needed to transfer about 2TB of data to the NAS. The fastest transfer over a wired gigabit network connection was 38 MB/s. I'm not sure what the bottleneck was, and it may not have been the device itself. Overall, my experience with the Terramaster UI was pleasant.

A basic NAS for everyone

Frustrated with my Wi-Fi losing signal every 2 days when a USB stick is plugged in, I decided to go with this option after seeing that it received a full 5 stars and had the desire to set up a NAS for the home. Installation and setup were relatively easy; Install the hard drive, connect it to the network, add power, run the installer and you're done. Transferring files is easy; You can transfer data from your computer to the TNAS (via Terramaster OS or TOS) or if you want to transfer files on a

DO NOT buy this if you are looking for a remote access product

I have been working from home since this pandemic reared its ugly head and used a USB drive to transfer files between several different computers at home transferred (Windows/Linux). In order to avoid wasting my time and increase the availability of my files, I decided to buy it. I've had it for about a month now and it works great on my home network. My machines can easily access files with little downtime, and download speeds aren't too bad (could be better, but not bad). Fast forward to last
