It exploded as soon as I turned it on.

What I Do Screen. But once I got everything wired up and hooked up properly, I heard that nice little *pop* accompanied by the sweet smell of burnt electronics. I love the smell of burnt electronics in the morning. .So I figured maybe it was a bad lemon that managed (as usual) to get to me. So I just got a second one and I thought no way, this won't happen again. It happened. Twice in less than a week. . Either the tech gods hate me (again as usual) or weird things are happening at Circle K.

Pros
  • . Easy to use.
Cons
  • . Pretty much everything is fine.

He fixed a little thing and, most importantly, broke it.

I already have the original version of the 4-port KVM switch and I'm basically very happy with it. I say "broadly" because the emulator doesn't handle 4K @ 60Hz reliably, often flickers at the bottom of the screen, or worse, no signal after changing the resolution. 1080p120 works fine though, which brings me to this revised 2-port model which is noticeably worse and less stable, not even hitting UHD 60Hz resolution without completely losing sync. Fixed compatibility with a mechanical keyboard…

Me, me, me and this "THING " just had problems

2-Mac Mini Plugged it in and it sent my 2018 Mini into the boot loop. Worked as advertised, after reconnecting everything worked 1 night, next morning mouse and keyboard didn't work and 2 lights were off. Unplugged cable, swapped cables, unhooked and plugged in again. He's dead and every time I sweat he's scared for his Mini. I sent Revain to send it back and get my money back. I will NOT risk my Mini again. I hope others have better luck than me. Now they are "TESmart". want me to make a video

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Solid KVM. I'm glad I bought it.

I was hesitant to purchase this model due to some bad reviews but I'm glad I did. To understand the relevance of this review, let me outline my setup. My monitor is a Samsung 4K UHD to which I connect two laptops: an HP Elitebook 840 G6 via an OEM dock and a high-end Lenovo X1 Gen 2 with dedicated graphics via Lenovo Thunderbolt Dock. I've connected a powered USB hub to a universal KVM USB jack that contains a Microsoft Wireless Natural Multimedia Keyboard, HD Lifecam, and various other USB…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • old

Much better than a cheap USB switch

Don't even waste your money on $10 USB switches. I threw mine away after months of frustration. On the contrary, this TESmart KVM was very reliable and extremely user-friendly. Some of the features didn't look convincing on paper but were surprisingly enjoyable in real life. Pros: * One switch controls USB and video! * The "Online" indicator shows me when my work laptop does not have the USB port enabled. * Keyboard shortcuts to switch computers smartly and quickly. Just double-tap Scroll Lock…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Only available in white

Doesn't work properly with my mouse and keyboard

Update: I connected a USB hub to a regular USB port and connected a mouse and keyboard to it instead. I still can't use the hotkey toggle, but it shows up correctly on Windows and I can now use the GHub mouse software. That's enough for my needs. I bought this because it said it had a "pass-through" mode for more compatibility. But my mouse and keyboard are still not working properly. My mouse is Logitech G604. This works when I use "pass-through" mode and set the mouse to use internal storage,

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • There are new competitors

4k@60Hz, EDID support, easy switching, just what I needed

I'm using a desktop (HP Envy 750 with RTX 2060) and a laptop (Dell Precision 7540) both using the monitor's native resolution of 3840 x 2160 at 60Hz with no crashing. There is no problem when switching desktop geometry, as KVM makes both computers think they are still connected, even when switching to a different computer. Removed scroll lock hotkey sequence - right control hotkey sequence The only odd thing about this is that it has a mode switch that has great pass-through keyboard support…

Pros
  • Trial period for one year
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

quality issues. It's good when it works.

Unit #1: Keyboard and mouse switched fine, but there was a problem with the video output (no HDMI output on my display, even though everything was connected properly and all cables worked). So I ordered a replacement. Block #2: Everything was going fine, mouse, keyboard and screen were fine...until I plugged my headphones into the headphone jack: only the left audio worked :( To isolate the problem, I still had Block #1, so I have all video connected The output still didn't work but I got good…

Pros
  • Easy Installation
Cons
  • Everything is OK
