Great idea but poor implementation.

Lo Bloo is a great concept! I like the idea of a cup that doesn't need a bandage to hold it, I can wear it over my underwear and take it off easily. But the included elastic cords are awfully short and end up pulling the cup down and back between my legs. The bottom half of the cup is too big and rubs on the inside of my thighs. I can only wear this mug for about 15 minutes before it becomes very annoying.

I finally cheered instead of crying when they kicked my balls!

This design is the only groin guard that has ever worked for me. Built-in elastic straps that wrap around and between the buttocks keep the cup FIRMLY in place where it should be. You dip the cup between your legs to cover the beans. I've used other designs like compression shorts and corsets but they never worked because they only hold the cup in front and have too much slack to move and shift. directly to your tenders. I've been kicked a few times since using Lo-Bloo and I couldn't believe I…

practical and stationary

Lobloo is the most efficient cup I've ever carried. It doesn't move at all when properly adjusted. It also offers enough mobility for kickboxing and I even forgot I was wearing it. I haven't hit a low blow since I bought it, but the device is thick and big enough that I don't doubt its defensive capability. A few minor annoyances for me that aren't enough to justify the downside are the video-required setup (at least for me) and the device is firm enough that removing the temp during toilet…

Excellent essential

I bought this for my Krav Maga class after using another less comfortable one for almost a year. That's great. I wear it over my boxer shorts and it's very comfortable. I got a few clear shots of both it and my old one, and where the old one has shifted enough to cause a little discomfort - enough to worry it might have slipped, this one stays in place and place and do what what should I do. My sparring partner actually felt the effects more than I did; We had to pause for a second while they…

Great product at a reasonable price

Much better than the groin cups you can buy at local sporting goods stores. Assembling this mug was a breeze after watching the lobloo installation video on YouTube. 3 minutes max. Straps around legs and waist are comfortable; you practically don't notice them when you wear them over your underwear. The cups tend to put a little pressure between the legs at the bottom of the cup in certain positions where the legs are closer together. However, I'm sure it will become more comfortable to wear…

Worth every penny: Protectors

I searched the market for a good groin guard, did some research and finally came across Lo-Bloo. I decided to take a chance and buy it when I doubted if it would suit me. When I first received it, I assembled it (which took about 3 minutes) and put it on only to find that it was extremely uncomfortable. I say that because I've never worn a mug in my life and I'm not used to the feeling. I threw it aside and was about to return it until I decided to fix it a bit. After adjusting the strings to…

Very effective protection.

I've been using Thai Cup 2.0 for 6 months now for Taekwondo and some Hapkido and BJJ. Application: I wear the cup over my Adidas sports boxer shorts during every workout. The panties can get tangled due to the elastic straps on the legs - a small annoyance. Additionally, the cup can put pressure on the lower abdomen during rotation and any stretch inclination, which can limit movement in that direction. However, the shell stays in place and, once I've gotten used to the pressure between my…
