So simple and effective it's scary!

I love my Apple TV. I use this every day. However, this is a trifle. tiny compared to other electronics in the entertainment center. so it seemed sensible to hide it. And TotalMount was a clever thing. I was concerned that if I used this mount to mount it to the back of my flat screen I wouldn't have access to the AppleTV infrared, but it actually WORKS. You get many different types of mounting "clamps" that can be used in a variety of situations. The device also allows you to screw it toโ€ฆ

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Useless features

I wish I had known about this thing ages ago. My TV was in a terrible fuss of cords and accessories getting tangled and falling on the floor (because it's hanging on the wall and in a space too narrow for a console or stand). This Apple TV mount combined with some zip ties and an extension cord mounted on the wall behind my TV freed up all the space. Now there's a white cord snaking along the white wall behind the TV, while everything else is tucked into the bar and obscured by the screenโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Dope ๐Ÿ”ฅ
Cons
  • Good but not great

Simple and does the job

Really everything you need to know about this mount is in the description. It can be attached in three ways: to the TV mount (with Velcro straps), to the wall (with two screws) or to the TV itself (using the plastic hooks and TV holes). The hooks can be used to mount these either horizontally or vertically and the bracket comes with a wide range of different types to ensure you find the right ones to work with your TV. I personally chose to just use screws as there are two tiny screw holes inโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Compatibility

Easy installation without tools

Check the ventilation at the back of the TV. They have? Then this is a good storage product for your Apple TV. It comes with three different sizes of hooks for different sized vents. I don't know if there's any way of knowing if they fit yours until you get the package, but the three types of hooks fit all the vents on the various TVs in my house, so it's safe to say that they will work. with you. There is also a way to wall mount it if your TV uses it, but I haven't tried it on any of mineโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Expensive

Smart Hidden Solution for Apple TV - Mounts 17 " Under Top of TV

I usually don't like such products. A 2nd generation Apple TV that allows remote control capabilities was scary! I have a multimedia stand in my master bedroom and I don't like the Apple TV standing on a wooden surface. Therefore it was hidden in a closed compartment for the time being, the problem is that infrared remote control signals do not penetrate into wood or very small gaps where the compartment closes. I had to hold the remote on the funniest occasions, and I never usually pressed it.

Pros
  • Gotcha!
Cons
  • Weight
