We got this for our garage because my husband likes to work on cars out there and it isn’t heated. It was a bit difficult to install and in order to adjust the angle, you have to use tools, so that’s kind of a pain. But it heats well, as long as it’s working. The first time we turned it on it worked for a few minutes and then just stopped. My husband wiggled the loose power switch a bit and it came back on, but that honestly worries me. I got this heater for my back patio since I enjoy sitting outside even when it's cold. I have a propane heater that's AMAZING but don't always want to use propane. Overall, this functions well in the moderate cold. I doubt it would perform as well under 40° unless you're sitting pretty close to it. I mounted this heater above the door on my patio. It warms several square feet in front of it. This has allowed my to spend more time on my patio even as the weather has cooled. Install took minutes. Operating it is easy. Expect best results when it's not to windy as it will vent away the heat.

The first one I received seemed like a used return. Screws were missing and cord was scraped up. Replacement has been good. Decent heat output. Warms up the area around my workbenches in the garage pretty well. Remote works great, and is a helpful feature. Same with the timer function. I'm happy with it so far.
