Perfect for my needs

I bought these for work to help us open reagent bottles. The little extra loop was perfect for securing the tile so I could track it down if another layer placed it in the wrong place. The slight spring action is great for preventing me from accidentally dropping it when taking the lid off. Just an all-around great buy.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Must have!: Pliers

I often work with anodized aluminum paintball parts, which scratch easily. I use these pliers more than any other tool in my box. They are great for gripping metal without damaging the surface like a metal tool can. These pliers are not a substitute for a leather-bit vise, but I'm happy to try them first. Most of the time they get the job done.

Pros
  • Fits me very well
Cons
  • Out of fashion

S_ _T do not tighten!

Sorry guys, although it looks cool and if you understand the concept it just doesn't work. Oh, it acts like pliers, but just slides over chrome, plastic, etc. 50 years ago, with regular pliers or pipe wrenches, you used a strip of real leather about 1 x 8"1/8" thick. The leather grips are crazy and the thick piece protects the device. Much luck.

They help where steel jaws just won't work

It's nice to have a pair of pliers with soft jaws. I like the rubber grip. Hole at the end for hanging. It's made in Japan, so you're assured of excellent quality. It would be great if they sold replacement jaws. If you go to the manufacturer's webvisor you can buy extra jaws and a tool to remove the jaws when they are worn. But you cannot buy them online. They come in handy in many cases where a steel jaw just won't do.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Nothing here

Zero QC by Tsunoda

I ordered these pliers and they were delivered quickly, but what is the Japanese word for quality control? I'm not sure, and neither should the manufacturer know because they obviously don't have a soft pad. It didn't fall off in the box, it was packed without a seal as shown in the photo. Tsunoda has no direct relationship with them, so they should be comfortable selling defective products through Revain if they can't be contacted for comment.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast

Ideal for loosening water-cooling compression fittings

This is great. I use them for tightening and loosening water-cooled compression fittings. This is a must if you value finishing your items that require pliers and the like. One thing I would say is that it's probably wise to buy replacement tips now because I suspect they wear out pretty quickly. After a day of use, I can already see wear and tear. They are also well made and at a good price I would definitely buy them again.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Expensive

Easy to use only!: Multi-tooth pliers

High-quality pliers for yourself! I was VERY disappointed with the quality of the sponges. THE FIRST TIME I barely squeezed them, they crumbled completely! 😩 I only use them for my RC cars and they are very easy to use. I understand her jaw is plastic but the quality of the plastic needs to be reconsidered because it was totally unacceptable 😐 I really need another set of jaws. But if the spare part lasts just like the original. I can easily switch to a different brand. too bad. I really…

Pros
  • Cutting capacity (AWG): Soft iron 12

Well made and useful pliers. The quality is slightly different.

These are really useful and (usually) very well made pliers. I've had several pairs that bind and don't open or close freely. They usually work great and don't have a visible amount of oil in the joints. Instruments that had "pegs" had varying amounts of oil. When the bond was serious, they had plenty of butter. Light binding, little oil. So someone tested them and oiled the pliers that have a latch or latch. Otherwise good pliers. The internal spring is good. A spring holds the pliers in the…

  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Pliers with removable plastic jaws

I bought these pliers for a specific job to replace valve cover gaskets on my 3.4 liter Toyota engine. When you remove the valve covers there are two small crescent shaped inserts on each head, one at each end of the head that will need to be removed. A good grip is required to remove them, and the pliers' plastic jaws allow for a grip without damaging the semi-circular inserts. They did a great job with this and I thought they did a great job releasing all the rubber hoses that needed to be…

Pros
  • Replaceable plastic tips prevent scratches on workpieces.
Cons
  • Legacy Model
