Does not work in Denmark or Germany.

I took this adapter to Denmark and Germany and it didn't work in any country, although these countries are stated in the description. I stayed at home. When I came back it was too late to go back. Keep in mind.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • There are new competitors

You were right! on Power Converters

Before buying I read reviews that Danish hotel sockets are round and users had to figure out how the adapters fit. You were right! Once I put the teacup and magazine under the adapter it worked fine. A round adapter would be better.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • no instructions

Compatibility issues with power supply accessories

Many sockets in Denmark are round (same as in Norway and Sweden). While the plug's pins fit snugly into the holes in the socket, the rounded square shape of the plug doesn't sit well in the new round socket. Square pin, round hole creates a potentially hazardous situation. Instead I used two pin euro plugs for my charger which worked really well.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Doesn't work in hotels in Denmark

The sockets we tried in hotels in Denmark were round and recessed. This adapter is square in shape and is too large to fit in an outlet. Luckily the pins were long enough to fit easily into the socket and if we gently press and hold the adapter against the socket it just works unless it falls out. So not a waste of money, but very close

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • unreliable

Does what I need in terms of power converters

Used this on a recent trip to Copenhagen. I have to speak from my laptop and teach courses, some of which last all day. So I need strength. This plug worked great. It fitted into every outlet I found in Denmark and worked perfectly with my laptop's outlet. It does exactly what I need to keep working. I like the little extra plug on top. This means I can charge my tablet while I'm working on my laptop.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Nothing

Not useful - Irregular external shape - Won't fit in an outlet

This can be a very good product if shaped right. The pins are ok but the outer shape is square and the sockets are round (see attached pictures). If you plan on using them in Denmark, do yourself a favor and buy regular E/F adapters - they work fine (but don't provide a ground connection). If you want one for Denmark look for a round shape - I figured there are no square rosettes.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Unsafe

You can't travel without it!

An essential item for trips across Europe. If you are traveling with more than one person, you can buy several. You might even want two for yourself if you're traveling with a lot of electronics (or at least bringing a power strip from home). ONE. I BOUGHT THIS TO SAVE SPACE AND NEVER LEAVE AN ADAPTER FOR THE COUNTRY YOU ARE IN. AGAIN YOU CAN BUY A PAIR SO YOU HAVE FOR ALL YOUR ELECTRONIC DEVICES (SEEM THEY ARE GETTING MORE AND BIGGER TODAY) AND YOU CAN USE THEM IN THE ROOM YOU LIVE IN AS YOU…

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Small Parts
