It was very easy to install once I understood what it does. Several online videos have helped. It would be great if the manufacturer bothered to show how to make a replacement for the video. Written instructions don't help much in these scenarios. I would definitely buy again though and thanks to the many DIYers who made videos for all of us.

This cartridge does not fit as well as the original Delta cartridge. I had to work really hard and hit with a hammer to get it in. But the main reason I bought the Delta version was that the temperature control didn't work properly. Even with the anti-scald knob set to the maximum temperature, the water was only warm. This problem went away as soon as I installed the original Delta cartridge.

This part fixed a huge problem with my bathtub faucet. Leak under the temperature controller. They sent me feathers and rubber bands without a delta, but that didn't help, it actually made it worse. I have a Delta Leland model monitor. Use a LARGE amount of wd-40 or other anti-rust spray. I used a large shot blaster. Worked great. After I replaced the part, the faucet worked great. My old shower valve was really stuck. I had to take the front off first. Then twisted the back end back and forth until it was free, then pulled out the rest. I read other reviews on this setup and noticed that the front seals are tight. However, prior to installation, I completely cleaned the inside of the valve body at the junction of the front seals.
