It turned. What else is there?

Works perfectly. I see that the o-ring will need to be replaced at some point after changing the bottle. CO2 makes my welder act like it's on steroids.

Pros
  • Welder
Cons
  • Almost never

Works perfectly! in gas regulator

I used this for beer gas. Bought a nitro regulator but the tank was a CO2 connection (dad) so used this guy to pair it with a nitro regulator. Works for months with no leaks (use thread tape)

Pros
  • tools and household goods
Cons
  • frequency

Shorter and stronger than my other adapter

Attention! The Uniweld F36 adapter does not use the same flat gasket (nylon O-ring) on the CO2 side as most Compressed Gas Association CGA 320 connectors. a Uniweld X09R O-ring instead.

Pros
  • Welding equipment and accessories
Cons
  • Almost everything in order

Leaks but sealable

Adapter comes with tank o-ring. Although the O-ring fits snugly into the groove on the face of the CGA-320, it doesn't seal well, CO2 seeps through it like a Niagara. I solved the problem by adding a second larger o-ring. No leaks. I'm wondering if the adapter is for a different tank flange. Otherwise, the CGA-580 seals the sides well, there is nothing to complain about on this half. All threads have been cut cleanly, the adapter is of good quality.

Pros
  • Welding and soldering
Cons
  • No power

Plan to replace o-ring before use

As many have said, the o-ring supplied is the wrong size which causes the connection on the CGA320 fitting to leak very quickly. Luckily I found a thicker o-ring to swap out for the one that came with it. The one I used was about 3mm thick. But I didn't measure. The problem is that there is a sealing groove in the valve fittings. The supplied o-ring will only work if the valve port is flat and without a groove. Plan to find the thickest o-ring that will fit in the adapter groove and it should…

Pros
  • Welder
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

I bought this to use CO2 with a Uniweld RHP400 Nitrogen Regulator in refrigeration systems, particularly when checking pressure and locating leaks. I usually use nitrogen which I can only get out of the tank for 1 or 2 small jobs as it is not liquid in the tank. I was tired of constantly running out of nitrogen and constantly paying for bottle replacements, so I decided to give CO2 a try. As you can see, I already have a large CO2 tank for my beer dispenser. The liquid CO2 tank runs **much**…
