DO NOT BUY! - 3D Printing Fluid

I have an Elegoo Mars 2 and this resin FAILS on EVERY PRINT! It can't even print the standard hook file. The print continues to fall off the build plate before the part is complete. I tried several build plates and the resin failed every time! Attached is a photo of FOUR FAULTS! To make matters worse, this test print takes 2 hours. And since this resin is opaque, I have to wait an hour to find out it failed! - EDIT - I've corrected a few typos in my review above and would like to give an update

zMud: good general purpose polymer

I bought a few bottles of zMud first when it first came out. So far I've only used it with the original (OG) Anycubic Photon. After running Photonster's Resin Exposure Finder v2 and the XPS Check Matrix, I found that the best exposure time on my printer for a 0.05mm layer is 14.25 seconds. This is a slightly slower cure time than Siraya Tech Blu but much less brittle than Blu. The detailing seems comparable to Siraya Fast Grey. What I really like about this resin is how easy it is to clean with

Pros
  • 3D printing consumable
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Special resin for additive manufacturing

I've managed to get some very fine details on my Anycubic Photon Mono with this resin, but there are things to note. After curing, this resin becomes hard and brittle with very little flexibility. It's quite strong, but its fragile nature breaks rather than bends. I tried several exposure times and found that this resin is quite sensitive to exposure times. In the end, I settled on the Burn IN Layers setting: 12 layers, 45 sec; Normal layers: 50 µm, exposure time: 4 s. and the rest is standard.
