The SD slot is no longer readable

Well, I've really liked this hub for about 5 months. Yes it did get a little warm but not too hot as some reviews have stated and I liked having 2 USB-A ports, an HDMI port for my travel monitor and a USB-C port that supports the slot that I use to power my Mac (since the hub powered the Mac) AND an SD card slot (although it only used full size SD cards for this). However, after the SD card slot function worked great for 5 months, she decided to take a dive and she stopped reading SD cardsโ€ฆ

Ideal size: Network

This product works exactly as it should. This is a great size suitable for traveling or taking with you. It's easy to use and appears to be of excellent quality. I am very happy with my purchase.

Excellent USB3Gen2 10Gb/s Hub

I bought this USB hub with my hard earned money. This review is my personal experience of using it. Bought December 2019. I recently (November 2019) bought a C940 laptop. At one point I had to join the key movement because, like most new laptops, it has very few ports. This particular laptop has 2 Thunderbolt3/USB3.2Gen2 ports and one USB3.2Gen2 Type A port. Thunderbolt3 docks (most) are very expensive and bulky, and USB3.1Gen1 hubs are limiting, although they are everywhere on the market areโ€ฆ

I would like the cable from the computer to the device to be longer so that the huge tangle of cables does not climb up in your face.

The HDMI port DOES NOT WORK AT ALL at 4K 60Hz as advertised!

As always, this is the 3rd USB-C adapter I've bought with an HDMI connector that as advertised "doesn't work at all at 4K 60Hz" but ONLY works at 4K 30Hz! I can confirm this as I am currently using a Cable Matters USB C to HDMI 4K @ 120Hz adapter which finally worked on my HP Specter @ 4K 60Hz laptop. So I can definitely confirm that these faulty adapters were the problem and not my HP Specter laptop.
