This drain was installed on a patio door that was perpendicular to the required drain slope of the concrete slab. The bristles provide an adequate seal when the door is closed and do not dangle when the door is fully open. I will discontinue this sweep type in all these future applications.

These brushes are soft and flexible. Easy to install and perfect for the roller shutter in my workshop. I put the brushes in. When the door is lowered, which is most often the case, there is a 2 1/2 inch gap for birds, mosquitoes or whatever to enter. These brushes close the gap and when the door is lifted they flex. Works very well.

This brush arrived with no instructions or accessories. I was hoping that some literature from the manufacturer would be included so I would have a resource for a possible brush replacement, but this was not the case. I used my own self tapping screws to attach the brush to the steel door because the kit did not. The screws are not supplied as described. I chose this product because the silicone brush replaces the nylon brush is preferred and because it covers up to 2".
