Mac mini startup freezes when connected to this USB hub

. This hub has a nice solid metal body construction. While the ports on the top make it easy to connect cables, it looks very messy with so many cables sticking out in the air. The blue LEDs for each port are useful to indicate that the port is active. They're not too bright either. The power cord could be longer. It barely reaches from one side of my table to the other. (Computer on one side, UPS on the other.) After unboxing the hub, I plugged it into my 2018 Mac Mini. I connected multiple…

Works great - keeps things in order (after returning defective unit)

The first one I bought was defective but I have to thank the company for getting my email back quickly. I was simply told to return it to Revain and buy a new one, which I did. The second works great. It was a little difficult to attach the mounting screws to the underside of my desk, but I'm glad I did it. I have a lot of USB devices so I use it under my counter/seating table to connect all the devices to a single USB port that goes to my desktop on the floor. I currently have the following…

Works great in networking products

Received at the post office on time. I had previously posted a review saying this USB hub glows. Yes, it SHOULD light up, but not every light comes on when USB Cordis is plugged into it. In fact, only ONE light is on and the rest are NOT. However. It's still charging things and my computer still recognizes what's plugged into the hub. It's a bit disappointing that I spent all the money to buy it and it doesn't even work like it's supposed to. I wish Fry's Electronics still existed so I could…

Was reliable for me

I threw away my 2 cents 6 months after the purchase. This seemingly well-designed product has worked flawlessly, although to date I have only used the first three ports. Just plugged in #4 so fingers crossed this port 7 doesn't have the same issue previously reported. Only a small tower with more external drives than the tower has USB 3 ports. .<28. March 2020>Now uses 6 out of 7 ports with everything from legacy USB 2.0 label printers to upstream monitor port, UPS and multiple USB 3.0…

Works with multiple devices

I don't know why the quality of the camera was mentioned in the review questionnaire! Anyway, this powered hub is the first one that works for me. You can use it with mouse, external DVD drive and high capacity external drive.

Great for arcade builds

To build my arcade cabinet I needed a USB hub that I could securely attach to the control box and provide enough power for the LEDs in the buttons. This USB hub has the number of ports I need, power, and small feet (removable) that I can use to screw it down so it doesn't move. Look at the image in the check box above the extension. So far it works great and I'm very happy with it.

Ports didn't work and one broke

I was really excited that this hub had a wall mount option but this product let me down and cost me almost hundreds of dollars. Even though I've only had it for a little over a month, sometimes the ports just wouldn't work and I had to switch to a different one or disconnect and reconnect. I use audio recording software that requires USB sticks to store software licenses. They use almost no energy, but have the most problems. Disabling one of them stuck the inner guts of the hub INSIDE my USB…

Nice little center for computers and accessories

So far this little center is great. I'm a big fan of wires and USB cables dangling everywhere and I haven't routed them to the computer tower at the other end of my desk, so I can't comment on transfer speeds, but I will say that it does a great job to charge most devices. I've noticed that some of the ports on one side seem to reject my Apple lighting cables, so I blame it on Apple sticking with the undercharge/overcharge settings set in iOS itself. Besides, it's okay. I'd like to say that I…
