I didn't realize how poorly my old knife cut until I tried the new Victorinox when I got it. Wow! He cut open a loaf of tough sourdough without leaving all the crumbs my old knife would have left. It requires less pressure and gives me a much more satisfying piece of bread!

Loved it, first use. Slice the pineapple as if it were softened butter. I will definitely buy more. The handle is super comfortable. I'm not a professional chef, but if I were, this knife would be my choice for its lightness and comfortable, non-slip grip. I can't believe I went 64 years without a knife like this. love love ❤️ love

I've used this many times and it holds its stellar sharp edge perfectly and lets the hone run fast from time to time just to be sure. Slices tomatoes transparently thin. The only thing that bothers me is that it's too short for my bamboo bread slicer. I have to make short cutting movements with it because it bumps against the wall rails. I wish I had bought a longer one now.

Just received my knife. Have purchased this brand before and am very happy with the work. My last purchase was a "serrated bread knife" and it dulled over time. We've used it from slicing bread to roasting. This blade should be an easy replacement. The only difference is that this replacement is not as wide as the original. It seems to work, but if you're looking for a more traditional bread knife with a wider blade, look elsewhere.

Despite the low price this serrated bread knife is probably the best I have ever owned. The black plastic handle may not look glamorous, but it provides stability, weight and a good grip. I've never had a "good" bread knife, I've only had the ones that come in the Walmart knife set. Faberware etc. I HATE how they keep tearing my bread into pieces.
