🚘 VW 5G4071126 Roof Rack Review

I installed these on my Mk7 2015 GTI with no problems. They are easy to assemble, fit perfectly, are very durable and look great! The seller sent them quickly and in excellent condition. It's spring and I still don't want to take them off because I think they add a bit of flair to my GTI.

Worked well on my 4 quad GTI with panoramic sunroof. No problem. The wind noise is quite high, but without a wind deflector. With the sunroof closed, it's well over 50 or so. Opening the hatch above that speed is absurd. I mounted Rocky Mount bike racks on it with no problems. I can update when I get the wind deflector.

Fits like an original part. Good price, fast shipping (5 business days from California to Florida). The included spoilers made it very loud so I removed them and added a 46 inch Inno Universal fairing which made it very quiet. commute to work) Definitely recommend if you bike or kayak.

I bought these for my 2015 VW Golf. I installed them myself after learning how to do it on Youtube. Very easy. I chose them over other well known brands because I liked that they were flush with the car and the ends weren't hanging down. I gave them 4 stars because I'm the princess and the pea. It creates wind noise. But I'm used to it. So it's not that bad. They are also great for Thule SUP taxis.

I recently purchased this rack to tow my 14.5 foot kayak on a 5 hour trip up the North Carolina coast transport. It was a lot cheaper than aftermarket racks from popular brands (although I've read that this rack is actually made by one of them for VW). The construction is solid and of high quality.
