3:1 SHRINK RATIO - Recovers to 1/3 of its original diameter, and makes a tight seal. Eliminates the problem of 2:1 tubing not shrinking tight enough. VARIETY OF SIZES - We have included 7 most commonly used diameters ranging from 3/32" to 3/4". Shrink tubing is precut to 1.75 inches. EASY TO USE - Simply slide heat shrink tube over your connection point and apply heat. Professional connections made in seconds. DUAL WALL TUBING - Outer wall provides abrasion resistance. Inner wall creates waterproof seal and strain relief.

Good quality, a little sticky feeling

Appears to be good quality. Not easy to burn or burn with a heat gun. I've found that the glue holds better if I rub the wire insulation with acetone before applying the heat shrink tubing. Be sure to heat the tubing beyond what is required to shrink it to ensure the melted adhesive wets the insulation. I try to squeeze the glue out a bit to make sure it's hot enough. The only negative I've found is that the tubing feels a little sticky after shrinking and once it cools down it never feels like

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • No performance

Many sizes, snug fitting

I bought these to fix a USB cable that was starting to fray. The hose is plugged onto the connections and sits perfectly. The wide range of sizes made it easy to attach the right one, and the 3X compression helped find one that fits snugly on the cable but still sits on top of the connectors. The hose compresses quite a bit, which worked well for my use. If you need something more flexible, this might not be it. All in all perfect for my purposes. I also use it to cover wired connections. I'm…

Excellent adhesion and fit

I've been looking for a clear heat shrink tubing with good adhesion ratings but it seems difficult. I dared and it worked great. YOU MUST have a good heat gun, especially if you're using it on larger wires that absorb heat. It has to be HOT enough to get good adhesion. The first image shows the correct application of shrinkage. Second picture if you don't use enough heat, hair dryer, lighter etc. Third picture, another good heat shrink. Fourth and final picture: If I let it heat for too long…

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Very expensive
