2021 Wireless Carplay Adapter: Upgrades OEM Wired CarPlay to Wireless, iOS System Support, for Cars from 2017 to Now (Black) Review

I really wanted this item to work, hooked it up to my 2017 Fusion with OEM CarPlay and it did nothing but give a red light. I've tried the suggested updates but it still won't connect. I have requested a refund and have received multiple requests to customer service for a refund and not a gift card. Very bad experience with this product for something not guaranteed to work.

Works great on my 2021 Kia Telluride, maybe 10 seconds connection delay but it connects every time after initial setup, instructions are not that clear but just plug into USB port . and go to setup phone devices on your iphone 12 pro ios 14.6 then do a bluetooth search on your phone for maybe 5 minutes and you're done, plus it's small enough to hide almost anywhere.

This little key makes life MUCH easier. I no longer have to connect my iPhone to my car with a cable. In fact, I found this routine so frustrating that I hadn't even used CarPlay before. Now I just get in, start the car and after about 15 seconds CarPlay connects. Many reviews say the audio is choppy unless you tweak some settings. My car didn't have this problem; The sound from my phone is perfectly clear. I will get my wife one.

Purchased for use in a 2021 Infiniti Q50. Installation was easy, plug in and you'll be prompted to connect to Bluetooth on the car's Apple CarPlay screen. By default it should reconnect automatically at this point every time the car is started. It would have been very easy to get 5 stars if it wasn't for the disconnection issue which I am still working on with the manufacturer. The manufactory responded within 24 hours. The initial setup was quick and easy. After the initial setup, a connection will be established automatically the next time the vehicle is switched on. Edit: After some trouble I finally got it working. It was great for a day and a half, but then it stopped connecting. Two more hours trying to get it working before calling. Not worth the trouble. Firstly it is well packaged and I am very happy with the size of the device; it's easy to "hide" if you wish. Although I'm fairly tech savvy, it was VERY easy to connect. I would say anyone that can plug in their phone or connect to their home wifi can do this. It just works.
