Great solution that won't destroy your bike

This is a kit that includes everything you need to mount it on your handlebars. Ideal for 31.8mm handlebars (standard MTB). You have extra space to place the main chain links and a few Presta cores! The only problem is that now I have to buy another pair for all the bikes. It will take longer in the field, but it can be difficult to pull without a coin or something to gain the leverage to unplug. Maybe in the next iteration there is some kind of loop that can be pulled.

Pros
  • Patent Pending, Made in USA
Cons
  • Reliability

The build quality of the tools themselves is really good and they are very compact. Great concept. BUT - they wouldn't fit in my Race Face Next R carbon handlebars as the inner diameter was too small due to the thickness of the carbon. The rep I contacted told me this is very common with carbon rods. So the wolf tooth should better keep up with the times, because these bars are very common in sports! Shame as I didn't see a list of compatible necks anywhere on Wolftooth's website.

Pros
  • Fits most mountain and road bars thanks to a storage bag with an adjustable rubber strap that can be cut to fit the inside diameter of the bar. The minimum inner diameter of the rod is 17.5 mm.
Cons
  • Useless features

Wolf Tooth - All About Quality.

Simply put, Wolftooth components/tools are well made. (And made in the USA). I don't ride tubeless tires and was hoping to replace the rubberized velcro straps on one side of the kit used to repair tubeless tires with maybe some mixed bills as a secret place to store cash on the road - or use a dollar bill in a tire stunt to fix a puncture in a tire to keep the tube filled in case of an emergency. Unfortunately it would not fit in this room. [I think you could wrap the instruments in billsโ€ฆ

Pros
  • For carbon and aluminum handlebars.
Cons
  • Hardly ever

Great idea, worst execution.

What a great idea this tool is. Unfortunately, that didn't work for me on a 200-mile bike ride through the Rocky Mountains. from falling out, but not so much that I couldn't remove them with my hands on the street. I ended up getting it there, but it would be too easy to accidentally and permanently cut them and have them fall out while driving. I left mine a little too tight, so I use the edge of a closed pocket knife along the way to get them out. After pulling and reinserting it a few times,

Pros
  • Includes multi-tool with hex wrench, multi-purpose chain and handlebar end tool, and two storage cases.
Cons
  • poorly thought out
