Worked better than I hoped

I've used these types of boosters before and haven't had brilliant performance. They worked great for what I wanted. I was able to use 2 18650 batteries to boost the voltage to 36 volts to power an LED strip that I wanted to convert to battery powered. I was able to adjust the power to 38 volts. I don't know if others will go that high as I only expected 35 volts. Regardless, it works fine and doesn't get hot since I'm only drawing milliamps of current. They're back on my shopping list if Iโ€ฆ

CAPACITORS ARE SOLDERED IN THE WRONG PLACES!

When I first tested one of the modules, I noticed that there is a 50V capacitor soldered on the INPUT side and a 35V capacitor on the OUTPUT side. Since it is a "boost" module, this did not make sense. I assumed the manufacturer mistakenly swapped the capacitors before soldering. In fact, the seller's photos show a properly wired board (with a nominal 50V capacitor on the OUTPUT side). However, all five of my modules have a problem with incorrect placement of capacitors. Chinese productsโ€ฆ

A+ SUPER BOOST INCREDIBLY GREAT

It met all our expectations when we tested them individually and the 5 modules worked great, more than double the voltage of the input. UNBELIEVABLE! It fulfills its electronic function really well. . . Good performance at a really good price. . .If you only buy the XL6009 chip, its cost is double that of the 5 modules already included in this chip, which can be easily removed if you want to use it for a specific electronic project. Great purchase made from us and also fast shipping arrived inโ€ฆ

Doesn't work well for boosting from 4.2 volts to 5.75 volts.

The XL6009 boost converters are advertised as having an input range of 3.0-30VDC to an output range of 5-35VDC, but they do not work due to overheating and/or intermittent (flashing) output . I tried using them to step up the voltage from 4.2 volts to 5.75 volts to use low voltage LED strips. With one module it overheats in seconds so I unplugged it and tried it with 3 modules in parallel and still had issues with overheating and LED strips flashing after 30 seconds. flashed after about 30โ€ฆ

Good quality, but read this note before switching on

Bought 5 of these, switched on the first device with 13.6 VDC with current limiting to about 2 A, reduced the output voltage, etc. The implemented power The voltage was 40V and the board got hot so I switched it off. Potentiometer turned 20-25 turns clockwise. Connected power and adjusted potentiometer for 24 VDC output. It seemed to work, but the board got hot, and comparing the input and output power confirmed that I was burning 3 watts in the power amp. Not very good. So I decided to testโ€ฆ

Handy easy-to-use boost converter

I needed a boost converter to convert 5V USB to around 7.0-8.0V at 500mA. A NOTICE. They come configured from the factory to supply approximately 22V with a 5V input. If your target device is sensitive to higher voltages, be sure to customize them for your target application prior to use. I'm using an FZ35 DC electronic load to set the load and you can see the results in the photos: 7.61V with no load (0.5A blinking in the middle so you don't see the FZ35 load is off) 5.1V @ 10mA input @โ€ฆ
