3/8 24 Ford 9 " with the best nuts

I used 3/8 24 bolts on my Ford 9" rear. These are great bolts, very strong and I love the nylon tip so I trust it will never come loose.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Great price

Made with Precision – Fasteners

Well made from good steel, the plastic lock won't get lost. Clean look with colored plastic insert. Will not work in hot places like exhaust manifolds as the plastic will melt and your lock with it.

  • Nice

  • Difficult to say

These are the most amazing nuts I've ever seen.

These are the most amazing locknuts I have ever seen. Seriously, when someone stole the nut from my bike's car mount (or maybe it came loose, but that's unlikely), these guys solved the problem. In fact, the bike mount manufacturer should include locking gel in their bike mount nuts.

Pros
  • Durable Finish
Cons
  • Security

I received them, they work as expected. I really have no complaints. I bought these to replace the nut on a pair of pruning shears (trimmers that usually cut to somewhere between 1 1/2" and 2"). The bolt that was on it was long enough for one of these nuts, but the nut they put on was half the size of this one, meaning that due to the constant pressure and lack of space on the surface due to the lack of height the threads frayed on the original nut rendering the pruning shears unusable. I had…

This good nut does what it's supposed to do

Beyond the obvious, I'll summarize my thoughts on its quality/accuracy/usability Quality: Without lab testing, it looks comparable to other Class 8 components I've used trust and use regularly. The nylon used is exactly what you'd expect from a grade 8 nut. Precision: I was able to thread it onto the nylon with just the right spacing between strands with ease. The nut is the same on all sides. Ease of use: The nut I bought is 1-1/8"-7 and I had to use a variable temperature heat gun on the…
