Description of 🚙 YITAMOTOR F150 Leveling Lift Kit 2.5 inch | Forged Front Strut Spacers | Compatible with 2004-2018 Ford F-150 2WD 4WD

【IMPORTANT NOTE】Compatible for 2004 - 2018 Ford F150 (2WD/4WD). Not for 2004 Heritage. This kit will raise the front of the truck by 2.5” despite the kit being less than 2.5”. This is due to suspension geometry, and the ratio between lift height and kit thickness is not 1:1. 【ADVANTAGES】Eliminates factory rake and perfectly levels the front with the rear of the vehicle. Gives a noticeably aggressive look to your truck. Provides additional fender clearance for larger tires and wheels. Maintains your original ride quality, steering quality and driving comfort. 【INCREASED SAFETY】 Machine-manufactured from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum billet, with heat-treated and hardened 10.9 grade pre-installed bolts. The anodized surface provides additional resistance to corrosion. Extraordinarily strong and light compared to spacers made of steel. 【SIMPLE INSTALLATION】The kit comes with everything needed for 100% simple bolt-on installation. The process requires no strut pre-loading, cutting, or modifying any factory parts, can be finished within 2 hours. 【Full Money Back Guarantee】 We offer a 5 years warranty and full money back guarantee. Find a capable and qualified installer.

The standoffs were a little less than 2 inches tall but added about 2 1/2 inches to the front of my 2015 Lariat F150 4X4. You need to find an installer who knows how to install them. The first place I tried to use wasn't very familiar with the installation and they wasted their time and mine installing it. The second place I used got the job done in a few hours and had no problems.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Requires socket

The kit itself is pretty solid. No instructions are provided, so plan to carefully study YouTube videos of other alignment kit setups before tackling the task yourself. If you plan to have someone else install the seals, don't worry. About 3 hours to install just because you have to compress the springs, turn the cylinder 180 degrees and hammer in the bolts on the posts. They WILL fight. The rest is pretty easy and straightforward.

Pros
  • Inspires Confidence
Cons
  • Great Price

Works well and my factory run after install seems the same. Don't believe the suggestion that it takes 2 hours to install. My mechanic is an experienced and very resourceful mechanic and it took almost 4 hours to complete. Hey, situations vary from one car to another. Two hours for the installation is suitable at best. I also found it odd that there were no instructions (i.e. NO instructions included). It was worth it. The truck looks great and I have 2 inches more clearance for those bumpy…

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Great buy at a great price!

I installed them over the weekend and the truck looks great! The ride is a bit stiffer, but that's to be expected. My F150 is now completely flat. YouTube has made the installation fully doable. Just watch the video and follow. I used a jack, a bottle jack, 2 stands and hand tools, but it would be a lot quicker/easier with some air tools. I did 98 percent of the installation in my garage. I didn't have to use a spring compressor or change struts, which was a plus. After installation you will…

Basic auto repair skills required, stay safe with Jack's & Air tools.

I installed this kit in my no elevator garage with the help of my neighbor. Metric deep sockets would be an advantage but are not required. I have replaced the driver's prop with a passenger side prop and the passenger's prop with a rider's prop/180° detent, no spring compression. You can rotate the lower shock to properly align the bolts with the mounting holes. It takes 2 to securely install the upper control arm in place using a jack and pry bar. I didn't need any grinding, it only took 2.5…

  • Quality workmanship

2016 f150xlt. 3 hours installation with jack and stands.

Fairly easy installation, I did it without a lift, just a jack and stands. You'll need a spring compressor to rotate the cylinder on the post 180 degrees to either side, and the bottom bolts on the posts are difficult to remove, so be prepared to wrestle with them a bit. When it comes to turning the cylinder on the post I recommend lubricating the rubber underneath with a good penetrating oil that is safe for the rubber after the spring has been compressed. There are many good videos online on…

Fits my 2004 F150 XLT 4x4

I was working on the front suspension on my 2004 F150 XLT 4x4. I had to replace the upper control arms and the inner and outer tie rods. I figured that while I was there I could just line up the front as almost all of the components would be out of the way to complete the install. The price was right for this kit and they are metal and not plastic like others I've seen, I just feel safer with metal. Installation was a bit of a chore and the instructions weren't too clear on where to place the…

Shock, strut and suspension work takes less than 2 hours

I have no experience in mechanics or car installation so I was hesitant to believe the job would only take 2 hours as stated in the description. . Well, that's definitely not true. It took me from 10am to about 6am to complete the entire work from start to finish with a few short breaks in between. All in all it's a very easy job but I'm thinking about it now that the job is done and I fully understand all the steps required for the installation. If I ever do a similar job with an alignment kit

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Great kit for my 2015 Ford F150

Easy to install with the help of a mechanically tuned brother and YouTube. Tools needed: - Spring compressor (free at auto parts stores) - 18mm spanner - 27mm impact socket or socket wrench (to loosen lower arm nuts) - Pry bar (18" length is preferred) - Standard socket set - Impact wrench (makes a lot easier ) - torque wrench (used to tighten nuts to factory spec) - blue or red Loctite fasteners - other standard automotive tools (hammer, adjustable wrench, etc. Install the kit or your tires…
