I picked this up on a recent trip to Hawaii. Once the phone case was sealed it worked very well and kept the phone out of the water even when fully submerged in water. I use them in my travel bag and when camping to put things in, I don't want to get wet. They held up well for a long time under fairly heavy use, but I had a hole in one of them near the seam at the top. Holes but in general for a bag where you want to keep the rain out or if your bag is going to dip into a creek quickly they are great. If you want to be 100% waterproof, your life depends on it. I've only used these bags twice, ending up hiking/climbing. After the second ride, I noticed that the smallest pocket next to the yellow Velcro tab (pictured) was torn. My wallet and phone were just wet, but if I had taken the bag with me on the third trip it might have been game over.
