Great addition to your toolbox!

As a result of my tests, I determined that these threaded hex flush nails are incredibly strong and durable. They made my project so much easier and faster to complete. The flush design also gives a very clean look to the finished product. My only complaint is the price, but as they say, you get what you pay for. Overall, I would highly recommend this product.

Pros
  • High quality and durable construction
Cons
  • Requires specific tools to install properly

Very soft metal, breaks easily when installed

These things are good once installed but they weren't easy to install. I've had a few that keep breaking where the hex key is inserted to install. Basically I had to use one to start carving wood, it would break. I would remove it with a pair of pliers and then proceed with a second one. In the end I decided to change the installation method a bit. Once you start trimming the streams, go back a little, then go down a little, then go back a little, then go up, etc. This method was pretty slow…

Pros
  • Slot Nuts
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

The perfect jig for securely attaching cabinet hinges to MDF cabinet walls

I had no idea they would work so well until I had to replace the much smaller MDF cabinet hinge screw with something that could keep the gorilla arms off me roommate, a sports fan. I used a 9/32" drill bit to create the perfect hole for this EZ-Lok insert in the side of the MDF cabinet, a hex wrench to screw the insert into the cabinet, and then a hinge from attached to the side of the cabinet is the EZ-Lok. Inserts with 10-24 x 1/2" Phillips pan head machine screws. It took me about 3 minutes…

Pros
  • Nuts
Cons
  • Crumpled packing
