Let's talk about Cryptocurrency Wallets.
Okay so, when I hear the word Ethereum wallet my mind automatically goes to the ether based cryptocurrency wallet, called the Metamask Wallet. By ether based I mean that Metamask wallet is specifically made to handle Ethereum and ether based tokens or ERC20 tokens. Now this totally makes sense because you're putting your tokens into a wallet that was actually designed for that particular token or coin.
However, Metamask wallet is most unlike other cryotocurrency wallets we have around and this is because, Metamask is an online crypto wallet that serves as an extension on Firefox, Chrome, and Brave web
browsers.

So yes we have a crypto wallet fixed or added to a regular web browser that still allows you to carry out your normal transactions at ease. All you have to do is get one of the above listed browsers and install the Metamask wallet as an extension.
One of the main reasons why MetaMask was created was to ensure that users can easily buy and send ETH and ERC-tokens. The next question that popped up in my mind was whether the wallet was secure enough more especially as it was web based and not an app.
It is a little satisfying to know that since Metamadk was created in 2016, MetaMask has not suffered any major hacks. The wallet makrs sure to rely on a brilliant community of software developers that regularly update its open source code to prevent the onslaught of fraudulent activities.
Metamask is a great wallet to store your ethereum or ERC20 tokens and you should definitely give it a try just like I did.
