🔋 DieHard 71219 Smart Battery Charger and Maintainer - 6/12V Shelf with 2A Review

I dumped a new battery again this winter! My "summer" car was in the garage too long and the battery froze (I didn't even know that could happen!). that worked great. I figured I wouldn't be wrong in choosing Die Hard, and as it turns out, I was right.

Directions very clear. It's a smaller unit than I thought it would be, but my old one was thirty years old and everything in the tech is getting smaller decade by decade. I connected it to charge a new but currently dead battery and I feel better when the orange "charged" light goes out and the green "charged" light comes on. So far it has only been connected for an hour.

Our lawn mower tractor only lasted 3 years and my husband had to keep changing the battery. I did some research and decided to try the charger before buying a new battery. We plugged this in and connected it to the battery at night and the lawn tractor started right away in the morning. We now use this on a lawn tractor and snow blower. Not enough juice to charge Found out. Those weren't connections. I tried the terminals on the battery, tried to insert the plug into the cigarette lighter socket. Do not go. During the night I got enough juice to get the light on after opening the door, but not enough to start the engine (the car is in a heated attached garage). Every time I restarted this battery maintenance tool on my three-battery 12V storage device, the pulsing green light would eventually switch to an orange light, which then just seemed to keep charging. I charged a 12v car battery for over 24 hours before the green light came on to indicate the battery was fully charged. I tried to start the car and barely started the engine. I ended up sending this gadget back because it didn't suit me. To be honest, the battery was probably completely dead and no matter what charger I use, the battery never worked.
