    Great value plasma cutter

Have been using this on 1/8" plates for a few days now. Makes clean, controlled cuts. I've cut several mild steel plates so far. Will take time but it's paid for itself now The only thing I would like to see is a mounting point on the car for the air regulator.

    Highly recommended: Welder

What can I say. Electricity and air for cutting metal. Yes, please. I've wanted a plasma cutter for a long time and finally bought this one. I figured if I really like it I'll update it in a few years. Needless to say, I put my coffee grinder aside and use it all the time. I bought several replacement nibs because I burned one while studying. I was able to cut 3/4" sheet steel but it took forever and looked bad. It works great on 1/4 plate which is what I cut most of the time.

    Pros
    • Easy to use
    Cons
    • Not as thick as other picks

    Great Product Welders and Accessories

Cuts Great! To be honest I was afraid to review this item until I had it for a few months. So far I've cut 3/16 aluminum, 1/2 steel and more. Those two metals that I thought would surely kill him. However, it succeeded. Not the most perfect cut, but everything else cuts like a knife through butter. Both devices have an aspect ratio of 120/240. Even though he works at 120, you can't say he doesn't like it. I run mine at 220 @ 65psi and it cuts pretty much anything. worth your money. Hope it…

Choosing the right price will save you a lot of time.

I was surprised at how well it works and how light it is for the price. I've only used 1/4 of the broth so far, but it cuts like butter. The instructions are crap, very precise, don't explain everything but there are videos on You Tube to help set it up and use it. Complain that the air regulator has no place to install. I did it but it would be nice if it was built in to protect it. You can't go wrong for money, I'll save that money in a year by shifting saw blades and grinding wheels, carbon…

Yes it works and it works amazingly

works better than expected. cuts like a hot knife through butter (110 volts on a tin sign) i wanted to put it on my car for a short time, but it was too long. then I thought I just bought a plasma cutter. five minutes later he comes with a free seat (see photo). I used it on an engine mount, I had to lengthen a hole to get it to the cylinder block. it is 1/2 steel. I cut it and threw it at 110 volts. the fuse has blown several times. the style of the 220 plugs in my shop differs from the…

    • Absolutely amazing!
    Cons
    • There are errors

product arrived well packaged and as described. All goods were of decent quality in this price range. It was nice to have a 110V power supply included as well as NEMA 5-50 hardwiring. I've only used 220V, but I'm pretty sure 110V would require a 20A minimum breaker. Cut a bundle of 3/16 and 3/8 steel with no problems so far. The only reason for the 4 star rating was that the supplied pressure regulator did not have pre-drilled mounting holes in the block, although a small separate mounting…

Very useful tool, I would buy more.

I bought this plasma cutter to see if something this inexpensive would work and was completely surprised. Not only does it work, it works with pleasure and cuts anything to 1/4 inch. without problems. I've used it to cut thicker materials, but only for testing purposes. I have a Hypertherm portable machine and this machine is almost the same but cheaper. Consumables are cheap and last surprisingly long. I recently cut 8 letters 24" tall out of 3/16 mild steel and have not had to replace any…

Very easy to use. Good price for a layman.

First plasma cutter I own. It's great and easy to use. This is much faster than with a grinder or an electric saw. I don't get awards for nice haircuts. This takes some practice. Don't worry, there is no dryer attachment. I used zip ties to tie it at the back. A little scared but does the job. In a way, it's better than a hard mount in case something heavy hits it. There will be. Plugged into a 110 volt outlet, I can run it at around 35 amps, which is good for whatever I'm about to cut. sheet…

    Powerful and inexpensive

Overall this is a very good cutter for the price, it cuts very cleanly and through materials that would be annoyingly slow and noisy with an angle grinder, I'm impressed. Small and light, this cutter is easy to transport even though I have it on my cart. i love this shop That's not to say there aren't any issues, just my preference and the reality of an inexpensive plasma cutter. The most frustrating issue is that there are no pre-drilled mounting points for the regulator/filter, meaning you…

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

Surprisingly good value for the money.

Disclaimer: This is the opinion of a newbie with no experience with a plasma cutter. Pros: I've been using it for 4 months now, everything works fine. I've only used it on 110v and set it to about 30 amps. It cuts through 1/8" and 3/16" steel like hot butter at these settings, and I've even used it to cut through 1/4" sheet metal. It doesn't have a problem with aluminum either. Comes with it Lots of air hoses included and the 220v to 110v adapter is very handy The unit seems to be quite well…
