WJ ABS Bleed: Diagnostic, Test & Gauge Tools

I don't actually need an OBDII scanner as I just take it to the shop when I need it but it had an ABS bleed feature which I did after my used Grand Cherokee 01'. In fact I refuse to give my cars to a dealer or mechanic, I was pleased to find it worked and for the price you couldn't beat it. I bled my base, then energized the solenoids twice, and when I bled again I got air. As I saw in some videos the pump didn't start during the main phase but I assume that's how the Chrysler program works…

Very strong for the money.

After the SRS warning light came on on my 2005 Honda Accord I decided to buy it rather than take it to the dealer. Very few scanners read SRS and ABS codes. After doing some research, I concluded that my problem was likely the driver's seat belt buckle switch, and Foxwell's tool confirmed this. You can set up real-time monitoring and I could watch the switch go from buckled to unbuckled and then fail like an open circuit. Note that Honda SRS codes are published in hexadecimal, so their 61-10…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Volume

I was nervous about ordering a scanner after reading so many stories and reviews about the influx of clones from overseas. I've only had it one day, but it's already paid for itself. I had to reset the SRS gauge in my 08 Mitsu Eclipse. I have to drive 70 km. Nearest dealer plus store fee $100 per hour. It seemed to me that you can get this scanner for $130 even after paying for the store, gas and round trip time. The only fear I had was that it wouldn't work. After reading a few reviews I…

Spend some time and find out if this scanner is right for your needs

I spent hours of research to determine if this scanner model is the best fit for my needs. It also appears to be identical to the similarly priced Ancel scanner. The company has so many scanners and they all seem to do different things with no clear sequence of extras. For example, better and more expensive scanners can't do what this scanner does, but they have other capabilities that aren't entirely clear. Many initials and abbreviations are used without explanation of their meaning. Even if…

  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Poorly designed

Works with limitations

A block arrived missing a key component - a mini SDS card to USB adapter. The software must be updated first. The instructions are confusing and written out of order. Suggest a simple chart/list - I've added it at the end of the note. It reads my fuel codes correctly and indicates I'm running too rich - ok, I did an ab bleed when I replaced the master cylinder and all brake components. This worked fine but follow the instructions on the unit and do a full bleed on all 4 wheels before attempting

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Vulgarity

The product does not deliver what it promises!

NT630 OBDII Scanner works right out of the box; That means it turns on and can be connected to the vehicle and read the VIN and other trouble codes automatically or on command. However, it doesn't appear to be able to perform automated ABS bleed tests, at least not on Mazdas. It has a cumbersome menu of various ABS modulator sub-functions; but unfortunately, without detailed technical knowledge of the specific ABS module on the car, I'm not even sure if it would be possible to effectively bleed

Pros
  • Excellent Overall Performance
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

I bought the NT630 Plus after my Acura TSX 06 had an annoying VSA light (after a little body work). I hated the thought of going to a dealer and figured there was an easy fix by just plugging it in and clearing the codes similar to what I had seen on youtube. However, I got an error "No communication with vehicle" and couldn't read any of the SAS codes, but oddly I could read everything else, so I thought I must have missed something in the manual (which is also incomprehensible). I was very…
