Powers Raspberry Pi IV in my RV

Hooked up this little converter to my RV to convert 12 volts to 5 volts to run a Raspberry Pi with Kodi. Works perfect. No problem.

  • Not the best

RFI when used to power a Pi

Bought for use in ham radio operations. It perfectly powers the pi4 with a car battery and a desktop power bank. However, it generates some noise. My S-Meter increased about 3 S units in noise level when used to power a Pi.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Ideal for powering Pi 4

Purchased to power Pi 4 on a robot. This source comes in very handy for this application with a USB-C connector that plugs directly into the Pi. Initial testing looks good with a solid 5.0V output. I'll update this if anything changes once I'm done getting it into production on the robot.

Very good solid build

I mounted this to the back/inside of the headliner on my truck where it connects to the windscreen. I then routed the small end of the USB-C cable along the rearview mirror and plugged in my phone, which is mounted on the windshield next to the rearview mirror. No more ugly wire from the 12 volt plug on the dash. It's well made and doesn't get hot or hot. The phone stays 100% fully charged when using the Waze app.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Only available in white

Great format great price

1st - product arrived on time (Revain's usual incredibly short delivery times), next nice format - 2 crescents for mounting screws, relatively small, red/black the input wires are detected is that Type-C USB output cable a bit short. but durable, the electronics are flooded, so waterproof (stable). 3. - The input seems to be quite stable over the whole range. A slight wobble as I moved through the input area. but acceptable as I intend to use a solid DC battery. Overall I am very satisfied with

Pros
  • Tested for one year
Cons
  • Not sure

Great way to power RaspberryPi 4 from Ender 3D printer

When I ordered my Ender 5 Pro I also ordered a Raspberry Pi to run OctoPi. I looked at the power supply in Ender and decided to use a buck converter to power the Pi. Looking through the results, I stumbled upon this nifty little thing: screw one side to the spare ports on the Ender power supply, and you have a USB-C that you can use to power your Pi directly. 3A is more than enough for a Pi: I have an 8GB model that has been running OctoPi - a custom 64-bit build - for a couple of weeks now…
