A shoulder strap is not sewn. Disabled

One of the straps was not sewn on. Without a shoulder strap on each, it's useless. My printer doesn't work so it costs another dollar to return this junk. So freaked out.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Be careful with that.

Not as many as I was hoping. Money is better spent on manual fork straps. When you get stuck lifting something awkwardly shaped or large objects. This can help, but be careful. The straps can also come loose if you don't want them to.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Only available in white

Second pair of hands

My husband has been very ill and this helps me to cope with tasks that require a second pair of hands. I've remodeled two pieces of furniture, used them to stabilize pieces, was able to move things on my own that we would both have trouble with, and they roll up and fit into a gallon-sized zipper lock. Husband is on the mend but I will use them anyway. Great product and very well made.

Pros
  • Annual test
Cons
  • Volume

Belts slip through buckles

Buckle teeth do not engage in straps and straps slip out. Absolutely not safe for lifting weights. Unfortunately I didn't try them on by the end of the return period. Do not buy! Update: I was only trying to use them for the second time and when I tried to undo the buckle the aluminum broke in my hand. Weak, poorly designed and practically useless. Again do not buy.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • weak

Used properly they work better than I expected

My wife and I bought these belts because every year when summer comes I need to move 3 air conditioner window units from our basement to the second floor and my wife I was a bit afraid I might hurt my back doing it. I have to admit they work better than I expected and they make moving heavy objects easier when used properly. Try to put what you want to lift on a table or raised surface because if you're pulling it on while sitting on the floor you may find it difficult to get up, so ask someone

I'm torn between 5 and 4 stars.

I'm torn between 5 and 4 stars. I'd say a solid 4.5 is right, let me explain. I'm a 5'7" female and have two decent sized AC window units that I have to lift 3 flights of stairs. Until I got these treadmills I always needed someone to help me. Not this time. I was able to do it myself. I felt it was a bit closer to the final flight with the last unit (it was the larger of the two and I probably should have worn it first) I had some trouble making sure the straps were properly attached to the…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as the other options
