I bought this to free up 2 oilers on the bottom pins on my Kubota supercharger. These pins are located at the bottom pivot point and will catch on dirt when working with the loader. My only regret is that I didn't purchase one of these a few years ago, what a time and frustration saver. I have found that the tool really needs to be used directly without a rubber hose extension as the hose acts as a cushion and relieves pressure. Be patient with stubborn blockages by tapping lightly with a hammer, depending on how tight the grease fitting is, the piston will eventually move when the zerk is loosened. I have an oiler on my backhoe. I tried removing the pin and after several attempts gave up soaking the joint as best I could with a PB blaster and then heating and whisking. No luck, the pen didn't move at all. I decided to give this tool a try before calling a heavy equipment mechanic. This item is very easy to use. When I first added lube, pressure built up in the boot and the infiltrated oil was expelled in a very thin stream.
