Great retro style turntable

I used to have a 6 year old Crosley turntable that finally needed replacing. After my search for the best turntable at the best price I came across this Jensen turntable with great reviews. The turntable has a stylish retro design, is easy to set up and use and works very well. If you want better sound I recommend using the headphone jack to connect external speakers, which I did and the turntable sounds even better! The sound itself with the player is also decent. This is a fantastic product…

Very important. Nothing for real audiophiles.

I like playing on old shellac from the 78s. Instead of using one of my Victrolas with a steel needle, I decided to try this plug-in model with a cartridge. Recording should be easier. This block fills the bill very well. A lot of money for money, very small and light, takes up little space but fits 10" and 12" vinyl records. The sound is good for mono. The turntable has an automatic start and stop. You must place the needle on the record by hand, not with an auto lifter. But it's not a problem.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • old

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the player/AM FM radio. I thought that for the price I paid it would be of lower quality on all ends. It's not relevant. I gave it to my mother who is now in her 70's and wants to hear old records from 45 and 78. She also always complained that she wished she had a radio to listen to at night. Jenson Record Player/Radio hit the spot. I listened to the quality of the player when my mother played me some songs. It sounded great. Keep in mind that in…

It works, but I don't recommend it.

Works because you can listen to the recording on it. And if you just want it as novelty (nothing wrong with that), then that's fine. I bought this as a gift for someone who I thought would like it. And there's something I love.* The faux antique design, which is just cheaply molded plastic, is still charming if you like the aesthetic* It doesn't take up more space than it takes* It's easy to use. Just plug it in, start recording and off you go*. Automatic start and stop. But if you're serious…

Throw Away Player is the best turntable

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas 2014 so this review is based on my own experience and not just 'unboxing'. At first he was impressed by how durable this little player was. Robust design and simple functionality. It was an "appetizer" for my daughter and the price was right so we gave it a try. listen while simultaneously playing the same song from CD and vinyl. This resulted in a delay of about a second towards the end of the song. My daughter was of course just enthusiastic about the

Guys, it's under $50!

This little turntable is sooo confusing. I read a lot of reviews about poor sound quality, cheap design and problems with skipping. Of course, I can only speak about my experience, but I do not agree. At first I agreed, then after some fiddling I found that with the right setup this is a really good little player. little time.1. The headphone jack is for headphones, not external speakers. Connecting this to your sound system will give you a much better sound using the wired speaker clip outputs
