Works well. Don't buy a disco instrument.

Works great. You don't really need a deactivation tool. The radiator side of the heater is too close to the firewall to turn on the disco. I just pushed with my thumbs until I could twist the hose enough to keep my lips down, at which point it slipped off. It hurt a little, but it worked. 20 minutes work.

Expedition 2007 - definitely didn't fit

Expedition 2007 - definitely didn't fit. It is listed as correct but is too long from the firewall and curves up. It works fine but almost causes a kink in the front where it connects to the piping near the front of the suction/water pump. **EDIT** If you are having this issue, there is an additional extension hose that needs to be removed next to the firewall. After that it fits perfectly.

Easy Install Perfect Fit

Expedition 2008. Pinch the white tabs firmly with your fingers, firmly insert the hose into the connector, and then pull. You can do it, turn your back to it! It will come down. The white tab ring can remain on the metal side of the joint. If so, fold back completely, remove, and discard. The new assembly simply slides onto the connections and clicks. Tighten the clamp and wipe up some of the spilled antifreeze. That's all. Very easy!

Fits my 2008 Expedition.

I installed this on my 2008 Expedition. The part is longer than the original because the original had 2 hoses from the firewall to the T-piece. This is the best design as it is a single hose from the firewall to the tee. I watched several videos that explained how to disconnect the quick disconnects without tools so I didn't have to buy a special tool to disconnect them. The one against the firewall required two hands as I couldn't figure it out with one. The installation took a little over…

That was excellent. Also just replace T

Genuine Ford Motorcraft part. After receiving it I realized that it was necessary to remove the extension from the heater core to the existing hose. I just couldn't get to it. I have a tool that loosens the clamps, but there isn't enough room between the hose and the heater core to put it there. I bought an Autozone 3/4" heater hose tee and 3 o-rings. I cut the leaking, cracked tee out of the old hose and clip in the new one. It was perfect. Cooling water was spilled, system does not need to be

Factory fit. Works as it should.

Tube fits perfectly. I was the exact size of the original for the 2010 Navigator. Others have suggested simply replacing the part that tends to tick, the T-joints and hose clamps, but hoses age too. You would think this would be a recall item as it is very common. It was quite difficult to remove the part next to the firewall. I had to hire another person to push and pull and I installed the plastic parts. Very bad Ford engineering. I suspect they want you to pay hundreds to the dealer to make…

Perfect fit (after you remove the extension from the firewall.

Replaced the heater hose on 07 Expedition. Perfect fit (after you remove the extension from the firewall as others have said) Next time you get another Want to replace hose (with a Y connector) Revain fitted it to a Motorcraft KH-451. The picture doesn't match the actual hose so it's hard to find. I also ordered both special tools. The long black rod I couldn't get to work.Quick connect stacking tools only worked on simple connections.I used 11" 90 degree needle nose pliers (although the…

Good packaging and fast delivery

I bought this item, Motorcraft KH-509, along with Motorcraft KH-451 and both are perfect for 07 Expedition. The dealer wanted $185 for both before tax and I bought them from Revain for $73. As a note on installation, I do not recommend buying an uninstall tool. All you have to do is insert the rubber hose into the aluminum tubes with one hand and with the other hand push the white plastic plugs and pull the rubber hose. The white plastic plug remains on the aluminum tube and can be removed…

I recommend taking a look at the WHITE QUICK CONNECTORS on your NEW HOSE.

Installed on my 2008 Ford Expedition. I can say without hesitation that the part fits PERFECTLY. I read some of the reviews that helped me so thought I'd summarize them to help others. Maybe 8 cups of water/antifreeze will come out when you disconnect the old hose. Not so hot what's up. I recommend examining the WHITE QUICK CONNECTORS on the NEW HOSE before removing the old one. There are 2 ways to REMOVE the white quick disconnects. You can pinch the reed on the side, or you can pinch the…
