OTC's Charged Air Cooler Tester is the easy way to find air leaks in charged air cooler systems. For use on class 7 and 8 truck engines. Large, easy to read 2-1/2 inch pressure gauge reads 0-60 PSI. Kit includes regulator, relief valve, and two safety cables. Quick disconnect air fittings attach to 3 inch, 3-1/2 inch, or 4 inch cooler hoses.

Did the job!: Air Conditioning Line Repair Tools

Did the job and found an air leak caused by a pinhole air leak that was only audible when the boost pressure hit 40psi inches.

This is made worse by the fact that they tried to erase the marks but…

I would give this 5 starts but the mold marks make it almost impossible to stop the air leak where the case the tester is stuck. This is made worse by the fact that they tried sanding the marks but they sanded too hard and left a passage for air to escape.

Works well, but "quick connects " are leaking.

This tester works very well but only after you remove the quick connect end from the cap it is mounted on and tape the gas line threaded tape onto the threads and then reinstall it. I also had to disassemble the gauge block and swap out the safety connector with the quick disconnect connector so I could install the block and monitor the pressure through the intake side of the engine. I tested my Prostar with an ISX motor and after 20 minutes at 30psi with no air I only lost about 1psi after the
