Wrong parts in package

The package/box I received contains 2 packs of M6 bobbins but no M5 bobbins - I compared bobbins in 2 packs and they were the same, it were all M6 coils. Because I repaired an M5 thread, I cannot complete the repair. I had already used the drill and tapping before realizing that the supposed M5 spools are actually M6 spools. I'm embarrassed to return the whole package but I may have to!

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Updates

Worked as expected, best in Tools and Equipment

I needed to repair a stripped thread on a motorcycle engine case that would be expensive to replace. The thread size was M5, the smallest in the kit. No rush, it worked great. The screw has reached the specified torque value. I'm happy and have other sizes if I need them. In that regard, I think this kit is a good investment for repairing threads in aluminum and magnesium alloy motorcycle components. I can't comment on hard materials, you'll be fine as long as you take your time and use…

Great product - tools and equipment

What a great set! NOTE: To use the included taps, you MUST have a tap and die set and a handle. Had the side post bolt removed and "fixed" by the previous owner using JBWeld on the WR250X bike I have. They couldn't clean up bad threads, so JBWeld failed. I bought this kit and it took 5 minutes to fix! Drilling out the thread and exiting the JBWeld was easy enough. Some compressed air from the compressor to blow out the remaining metal. Carefully drill a clean hole with a tap and some light oil.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Got it

Salvaged from the junkyard

My bike's motor almost overheated to 95 degrees during exercise. Only then when I got home did I see oil all over the left side of the car. The inspection revealed an oil leak under the left cylinder head gasket. The cylinder head nuts were already loosened during disassembly, further disassembly shows that the cylinder head studs have torn out of the crankcase, the thread is completely destroyed. I was able to fix damaged threads with this kit while the motor was still in the frame, which…
