Great tasting water!

Bought this water dispenser for my son about 2 years ago. But he doesn't want that, so I'll put that aside. I have drinking water delivered to me every month. Because I have a hard time lifting heavy jugs onto my dispenser. Now I'm trying this water dispenser and it's very convenient and no more heavy bottles to lift! The water tastes great, as does the delivery water. I am very happy and satisfied with my purchase!

I wish we had gotten it sooner!

I really wish I had thought of looking for something like this many years ago. It saved lives and money! It was easy to install and everyone helps keep the pit filled. We didn't notice any weird or aftertaste. Our system [in our house] is this: we have a water filter under the sink and we use it to fill the pitcher to pour into the tank - not that we have to do it that way, but we preferred it . , worked great. According to the instructions, we removed the support sleeve/bottle punch, assembled

Vitapur was good, Greenway wasn't.

Have owned the Vitapur Built system for a long time. Vitapur built-in filters are no longer available. Greenway filters have had issues with leakage and prolonged water flow through the filter. I decided to buy a new system to see if it works better. nope Vitapur created a great, efficient and effective product. Greenway is not. Filters are not properly installed in a leak free system and filters take a long time to filter. Brand new but they act like they are full. Never had any problems with…

It's a life saver

I've had other water dispensers but these had the top bottle removed and replaced with another bottle filled with water. I'm not tall, I'm getting old (I'm only 82)), but I don't have the strength I used to have, and lifting heavy bottles is now the lot of a stronger person. That was excellent. The top bottle is non-detachable and I can fill it up simply by lifting the lid off the top and adding a few pots of tap water. The filter is on top and the water flows through the top filter to the…

Mostly positive, one negative

I don't like buying 4-5 gallon water bottles, carrying them around the house and loading up a new one every 2 days. I like not using tons of plastic (although I recycled it). And I like not spending money on water every week! The reusable water pitcher is great for my family of 6. We use a lot of water, so I refill it often. I keep a large stainless steel bowl nearby and fill it (the pitcher) about 2 times a day. (4 kids, 4 athletes and 2 parents = lots of refillable water bottles!) A big…

The real problem with the filters

Bought, read installation instructions, soaked filter for 30 minutes as recommended, poured about 2 liters of water, then did TDS test. I'm in Arizona and the TDS is around 380 which is awful. After testing the filter the TDS only dropped to 320. I did a calibration on a TDS meter I bought from Revain and verified that this was true with several different bottles and tap water. I sent the Vitapur GWF8 back and ordered a replacement hoping I had a defective filter but the replacement results…

So much water on my floors. *cries*

I seem to be having the same problem as many reviewers, it doesn't stop the flow and eventually floods the water cooler. I first tried it with a Knox water cooler and it worked fine for a while. A few months later I woke up to a flood on the floor. At this point I thought something was wrong with the water cooler so I tried everything to fix it. To the point of returning the water cooler and buying another. This time I tried Honeywell's signature dispenser. I put everything together, poured…

Growing algae are good for filtering and softening water

Waste of money. I figured that with the pandemic I would start using my water dispenser and thought it would be a great idea to save some money and time by going to the store to look for water, or 5 gallons -Tow refill bottles back and forth to the store and back. . I used the bottle for 5 months until I got up one morning and thought I was seeing things because the water at the bottom looked green. Looking closely, it turned out that algae had grown on the bottom of the bottle and around the…

Great product, HORRIBLE packaging

Love this idea; It makes the water cooler, like a Brita jug of hot and cold water that doesn't take up space in your fridge. Water tastes great and refilling the tank every now and then is a lot easier than dealing with those heavy, heavy bottles. One star deducted due to disappointing packaging. Like other reviewers, I just couldn't separate the two halves. After reading the reviews before buying I was ready for some level of difficulty. I didn't even try to take it apart until I gave it a…
