Size: 23x16x11.5mm. Material: Copper; It is machined with very high precision and high quality. Copper has more than 3x the thermal conductivity of brass, and the copper alloy we use has been hardened and treated to reduce the oxidation that occurs in copper at high temperatures. The higher thermal conductivity will also slightly increase your heat-up times, and can provide tighter temperature control. This heater block is for OD 3mm cartridge temperature sensor. This copper-alloy is very temperature resilient, and will not start to soften or anneal until way beyond 500°C, making it perfect for the high-temperature printing. In addition to high temperature performance this Block have an advanced nickel based plating. Package: 1piece.

Hidden manufacturing defects

The ones I received have a rib right in the middle of both the heating element and the temperature sensor holes. It looks like they were half drilled, but tools were used on each side that were misaligned. One side of the heater cartridge hole is also oversized by about 1/4" so it's possible that a tool went all the way through, but only halfway through for some reason. I have four of these, probably all from the same batch. I would like Revain to send me some of these from another warehouse as

Quality clone in 3D printer Parts & Accessories

I was quite skeptical at first as were the other reviewers but the first thing that struck me when I received the heater block was that it was too heavy for brass is . or aluminum, so that was fine. After some screwing and unscrewing of the thermal break, the coating on the threads started to wear off (hence the 4 stars instead of 5), but because of this defect I saw that the block itself was actually made of copper and not some other metal. I've been using it on my FLSUN Q5 for a few weeks now

Fits E3D V6 on Ender 3 Pro - Quality Product

I usually rely on reviews to make my decision but the options for this type of heater block are limited. There are plenty of cheap aluminum ones out there and another copper plated option that got bad reviews. If in doubt about a solution, spend $12 and choose this one. You can immediately feel the difference between this block and aluminum. The weight alone is impressive. I'm not sure if this negatively affects the quality of my prints or even the heat.
