Fiberclass fabric Excellent for glass casting

I bought this fiberglass fabric to use for glass casting in a furnace as it is part of the shape consolidation process. After laying a few layers of molding material on top of my clay model, I soaked the cut pieces in this fiberglass cloth and laid them on top of the model for extra strength. The mold has been pre-fired and is now in the final firing stage, securely holding approximately 18 pounds of glass. I will be buying more of this fabric to use in future mold making as it can withstand…

Fast, strong patches and reliable reinforcement: just add epoxy.

Ideal for many repairs that you have to deal with. Good size, easy to use. I had an old Bissel garage vacuum with a badly cracked top plate. I cleaned it up, cut out a fiberglass patch to match the crack. I applied a coat of 10 minute epoxy to the back of the broken part, making sure the glue filled the cracks. I then laid the patch over the wet glue and pressed it down with a flexible plastic knife. Then I added a thin layer of epoxy to the patch: great result; Probably stronger than new.

Great for renovating. in Adhesives

I used this fiberglass cloth and resin to repair some interior panels on my '95 Jeep Cherokee. The brittle plastic made the plastic crack and break when removing the sunroof back panel, although I did my best to avoid this with the right tools. So first I glued on the prizes, attached some strips and shaped where the brackets go. After drying overnight, I used a Dremel tool to re-cut the necessary notch in the fiberglass repair and inserted the brackets. Works great and no problem reinstalling…

Ok with some notes

Product size 25.5 x 47 inch rectangular. Some say it's a heavy fabric, but in the world of fiberglass fabrics, it's really light to medium weight. It was folded so tightly and tightly that the fabric parted at the corners of the fold. See attached picture. So if you're creating multiple layers, it's really not a big problem. However, designing the final cover to be open to the view of the world, as is my current usage, is distracting as it uses these weaves in an approximately 5" x 5" pattern…

Makes do-it-yourself bodywork easier

My 86ft 4Runner has A LOT of rust that I'm slowly removing. When filling a large hole in the body, this fiberglass cloth works great. It's a nice thick weave that adheres well to the resin and covers large gaps. I like to cut it into 2 inch strips for work. First I clean the inside of the hole with 2 part resin and put some fiberglass cloth in the hole and press it against the back of the hole so it catches with the resin I placed there. I then smear the fiberglass strips with resin and press…

should have done this many years ago

I have struggled with a cracked pool step for several years. I've used two step epoxy rods and flex tape and other quick fixes. Eventually I got fed up as a new crack formed on the step. That's great. I applied the white epoxy pigment before adding the hardener to the epoxy and mixing well. I added the hardener according to the instructions. I also used this 3m Bondo fiberglass fabric to add extra strength as the step feels hollow at the bottom and sags in the middle. worked great. According to
