🥊 Enhanced Speed Bag Swivel with Cotter Pin Review

If you have a pile of scrap wood lying around and need a speed bag platform then this is for you. Just find some guides on the internet to create your own platform cheaply and easily. Then buy yourself one of those simple swivel kits and a bag and you're in gold (gloves. HA!). It even comes with all plywood mounting hardware. After a few months of use it started to squeak a bit, but I just smeared some lube on the pin and it quieted it.

Definitely an improvement over the original plastic/metal I had before. Solid article. The only issue I had was that the cotter pin provided was too long and could contact the surface of the studs causing the bag to stop/slow prematurely. Great swirl. The reason some people have trouble with this, especially compared to a ball joint, is that the design is only for 2 directions, forward and backward. If you hit the bag at too great an angle, the bag will spin in circles (in order for the bag to swing in other directions, it has to move along its leather strap, not fast at all). However, if your swing is correct, this turn will be fast, very fast. It's also very noisy. That's really the only problem I've found, it's a noisy thing,

Pros: Sealed bearings; zinc steel; thick mounting plate; quick action; consistent rebound; Great replacement for the heavy and fast Everlast 2 station bag (the 2nd station comes with a plastic ball swivel which is very slow and loses accuracy over time). I am very happy with this purchase. This is a great upgrade for my two station machine. Better than the plain crappy one that came with my Everlast bag stand. The holes were exactly the same. However, I feel like it's pretty sloppy and noisy, so I made a few modifications that made it rock solid, smooth, and quiet.
