Good solution for Chromecast with Google TV

It was an affordable option to extend my Chromecast with Google TV via wired ethernet (obviously this makes cloud gaming more consistent with Stadia sideloading for example) and a webcam add for google duo and zoom download. It works with an XPCAM webcam which I previously got for free but am considering upgrading for better image quality. I'd love to have additional USB ports to add storage in the future, but haven't yet tried that. I've heard you might need a more powerful USB-C box to power…

Works great with Chromecast with Google TV.

The new CCwGTV is powered by a fully functional USB-C port. Since CCwGTV has minimal storage, I bought it to use a well-established USB3 flash drive (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B08MB9G2GM) to increase its storage by 128GB to record with TiviMate. and the same. Works perfectly! To do this, use your computer to format the drive to FAT32. CCwGTV recognizes it and in the storage settings offers to reformat the hard drive to ext3 and treat it as internal storage. The process takes a few…

NO Gigabit Ethernet. Does not fit Chromecast

I bought it because it was a good way to add an Ethernet -Recommended connection and USB extension to Chromecast with Google TV using a standard Chromecast charger. Unfortunately it isn't. First, the standard Chromecast charger doesn't provide enough power to use this hub. Even with nothing else plugged in, the Chromecast displayed a power warning and wouldn't boot. The spare 65W charger worked, but then we encountered a bigger problem. The main problem is that even with the right charger, it's

Power hog and ultra-short USB-C cable, but generally good

I only got this item as a Complementary to my Chromecast purchased with Google TV. Google's official Ethernet adapter costs $20 and includes a 5V 1.5A power adapter, so we know the device will work at this low wattage. However, this hub is a power source that requires a lot of power. So it's easy to add $20 to the purchase price of this hub if you don't already have a large USB-C power adapter (the average user won't). I knew from reviews that the free 5V-1.5A that comes free with your CWGTV…
