Great gaming monitor, beautiful colors, great price

After a week of research and deliberation, I've decided on the Gigabyte M27Q as my next gaming monitor and so far I haven't been the least bit disappointed. The colors look great out of the box, but can be made even better with a little fine-tuning. I love the hardware unboxed configuration shown in their overview video. I switched to this monitor from a 1080p VA panel which I hated for the high amount of intolerable ghosting and low pixel density. I switched to this monitor and can't find any…

The monitors are great except the light glare is so terrible that even after troubleshooting and watching a fix video it didn't get any better. Didn't buy new monitors at this price to see blurry images. You can easily spend money on oeldEdit: 2/7/2022 From 1 to 3 stars Firstly, it is OLED. uh Second, after further research I was disappointed to find that it was both Backlight Bleeding and ISP Glow. Probably the best color accurate gaming monitor for the price.

After reading and watching the review of this model from RTings I knew it would be a great addition to my setup. It covers all the basic needs you could possibly have and really just lacks a few QOL features. As you may already know, this is a 1440p IPS gaming monitor with a refresh rate of up to 170Hz and high color accuracy. With its gaming-related specs, you'll likely have to shell out x2+ to get a better refresh rate or other features without sacrificing anything else. So far I've only…

    Didn't get a lemon!

I'm happy! I didn't have a lemon! I regret myself that I have remorse, because everything around 1080 has really only been optimized and the picture quality is really not that important to me. This is my fault, not the fault of the manufacturer or the product. Maybe this can help someone else. XD In general, don't let that put you off buying this product. I will list these as POTENTIAL CONS rather than actual CONS since these cons have more to do with my personal preference than a flaw in the…

This is an overview of the M27Q, not the entire list of monitors on the Revain product page. On paper, the Gigabyte M27Q rivals the best 27-inch 1440p gaming monitors, while its MSRP is about $100 less. I used to have a high end monitor. Monitors, a Dell S2721DGF which I had to return as it was defective. For $120 less, I replaced it with the M27Q, which I've been using daily for about a week now. 1440p170Hz monitor with KVM

Great monitor for gaming, although HDR is a bit of a stretch. You can see the differences, although it's nothing special. At best, entry-level HDR. At 170Hz, this monitor runs smoothly. FreeSync runs down to 45Hz (preferably 30Hz), but then Low Frame Rate Compensation (LFC) kicks in, so this isn't a deal breaker. KVM is a bit testy (confused on rare occasions) but has no problem adding KB/m of input lag. It saves wiring space and is decently configurable in the menu. No KVM software is…

A good gaming monitor is a beautiful place

This is a really good gaming monitor. It offers the perfect balance between quality (1440p) and a high refresh rate (170 Hz). 4k gaming isn't really needed just yet, plus you need a powerful computer to run 4k in ultra resolution while waiting for a good refresh rate. And 1080p with a high refresh rate is a bit dated these days. I think most gamers will agree that high refresh rates of 2k are the "golden spot" for gaming monitors right now. I built a new computer with 3080 for this monitor…

Came with a dead pixel, but otherwise everything is fine.

I got these today and used it for work for most of the day and then switched to my gaming PC via KVM. I've played a few CSGO matches and some Doom 2016. I paired it with a 5700XT. There are no problems with Freesync, I am very satisfied with the picture quality. It's way better than the 60Hz 1400p IPS screen I had before. The dead pixel was a bit of a shame, but it's not that noticeable during use. I'm deducting a star as it's definitely not perfect, but I'm happy with everything. I use it for…

One star deducted for display port issues. Otherwise a great monitor.

Not 4 1/2 stars so I had to give 4. No issues really except for the occasional Displayport issue, which happens about every 2-3 months on average. The fix is often inconsistent, the last time I literally gave up (change cables, reboot, etc.) and the next day it was "fixed" again. The monitor itself is fairly light, the screen looks amazing and the picture quality is excellent. , and it can be easily adjusted according to each customer's eye level. I love my monitor!

    Great inexpensive monitor!

Excellent image and color quality after some tweaking, response time and refresh rate are very fast and perfect for gaming 144Hz via HDMI and 170Hz via Displayport (G-Sync compatible for DP only). I was surprised that enabling the HDR color option in Windows 10 settings delivered decent HDR400 content and matched colors for both SDR content and HDR content. Note that this monitor has a BGR subpixel layout instead of regular RGB subpixels, which can cause small text to be slightly blurry in…

    Great but. in my rating

I would like to give five stars for that. The monitor is very well made. It's also great for gaming. However, I ordered it on May 18th, and now it is July 1st of the same year. A green dot has already formed in the upper right corner of the monitor. yippee So great monitor. Short life I guess. Guess I'll wait and see if it's a green screen, forming a green chunk in the middle, or just a pixel dying. Either way, dammit. As for the second monitor (I bought two). everything OK. Good for a gaming monitor, crap for KVM and software

I've had this monitor for a year and have enjoyed using it for the most part. But over the course of a few months, I noticed that some features were underdeveloped. It started with trying to update the Sidekick software, which now appears to be stuck believing that this monitor is no longer a Gigabyte device, even when no other devices are connected to it. The AFK screen customization software complicates setup since all the controls are on the back of the screen. OK. Since then, I've been…

Great buy for 2k gaming and content creation

One if not budget is bought for 2k monitors. It also comes with a great color calibration out of the box. The response time is very fast, so you won't notice any blur when everything is moving quickly. Brightness is also perfect and the 165Hz refresh rate is a bonus. I have this for content creation and gaming and it can 100% comfortably do both. It also comes with some other features. 8-bit color above 120 Hz only

Overall, this is a good gaming display, but I'd like to point out something that no one has mentioned yet. This display only supports 10-bit color up to 120Hz. If you select a refresh rate above 120Hz, 8-bit color will be used. While my other gaming display only supports up to 144Hz, it can support 10-bit color at that refresh rate. So if you're using this monitor for both gaming and production work, you may need to switch between 170Hz for gaming and then back to 120Hz to ensure color…

Excellent monitor, the best in my rating

All in all a very good monitor. I mainly use it for programming, but I've also done some color grading with it. The image is fairly sharp and the colors look fairly accurate out of the box. My only concern is that the inputs are awkwardly placed so connecting to a monitor requires some fiddling, but that's a minor issue as you'll likely only need to connect cables from time to time.
