Put this in Ranger 2000

Place them in the 2000 Ranger. They were a direct replacement and fit perfectly. Although not visible in the photos, the parts are supplied with the necessary wiring. The actual exchange took about 15 minutes. For those who don't know how to do this, here's what I did: Disconnected the battery cables. Steering wheel to expose the airbag screws 8mm socket to remove the screws holding the airbag in place Unhooked airbag cable Remove the two #2 Phillips screws on each side holding the switches in…

  • There are other interesting options.

Installed on 2001 Ford Explorer. The fit was perfect. do yourself a favor If the old units still have their ribbon cables in place and working, DO NOT remove them. Instead, use needlenose pliers to pry the new ribbon cables off of them (save them because you just never know). Do the same when removing old, broken blocks (LEAVE the old ribbon cables in place after removing them from the old blocks with pliers). Then just connect the cables to these devices and screw them tight. Note. Disconnect…

It's OEM and it works!

Installed on a 2003 Ford Explorer Sport Trac (XLT, 4x4, 4.0L V6, SOHC). Installation was easy - watch tutorial videos on YouTube (most will tell you what to pull on the steering wheel) - and it's a direct replacement for the original OEM, Motorcraft and Ford buttons. The block I received has wiring for the button (these come to Ford from the supplier) but unless you want to yank at the steering wheel I recommend carefully disconnecting and using the wiring already installed (unless of course…

So far, so good! on Air Charge Temperature

I don't do many reviews at first, but after dealing with criminal dealers I felt compelled. Except that the original part just disintegrates and becomes a piece of shit. Says it doesn't fit the 2003 Ford Explorer Sport Trac, wrong it's perfect. And this is a big thank you to the previous reviews! Apparently the part that was supposed to fit doesn't fit and my dealer didn't even give me a part number. Installation, making tubes and reading. Snap a picture of the device on the truck before you…

The new cruise control switches are great!

Needed to replace a cracked cruise control switch on a 2003 Mazda B3000 DS. It took me a while to find a site that could definitely tell me what part number to use. I used the "does it fit my car" test on this site and it turned out that it wouldn't work. They fit perfectly. I watched a YouTube video on installing switches and took the plunge one Saturday morning and did the install. Perfect fit, and it's nice that all the lights on the buttons come on at night, plus it's definitely easier now…

Pull hard and it gives

My need to save money and fix my cruise control switches took me out of my comfort zone and pushed me to do it myself. I purchased the SW5928 from Revain after visiting a Ford dealership and providing the appropriate part number and roughly verifying that it would fit my 2001 Ford Ranger XLT. Since my wiring wasn't a problem, all I had to do was replace the sheathing. After reading and researching the information on the internet, here's what I did: I checked this site for tips and…

Fits 2003 Mazda B4000 Part Number SW5928

Fits 2003 Mazda B4000 and all other B-Series trucks P/N SW5928 easily fits Mazda B4000. The part is exactly the same, it came from a Ford Motor Craft in a Ford Motor Craft box, it was actually made in Mexico. I didn't have any major issues installing and removing the new switches, other than the connectors being a bit difficult to detach. Please remember to first disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery under the hood of the truck. This will prevent the airbag from inadvertently…

The new cruise control switches look nice and work great.

Both of my old switches on my 1998 Explorer had cracked and the light went out. So very annoying. After watching a few YouTube videos and researching many places to buy, I decided to take the plunge. They had good reviews for Revain and the price was good. Since I made sure to disconnect the battery about 30 minutes before launch, actually removing the side screws on the column and air bag was easy. Several videos recommend simply disconnecting the wires from the old switches and then…

Fits and works perfectly in my 2000 Explorer.

Looks like an exact replacement for a 15 year old on my truck. I am very satisfied with their work and installation. After reading many articles on the forum and watching many videos, I decided to take this job. My biggest concern was accidental airbag deployment. I followed all the instructions in the books and everything went well. One of the recommendations was to disconnect the battery and allow the system time to drain before doing anything. Be sure to follow these. I chose not to use the…
