I purchased this saw blade specifically for cutting aluminum railings and balustrades for our porch and patio. All railings are 1/8" thick aluminum and the cuts need to be clean and precise for a good fit. Rather than using a standard carbide blade to cut wood, I followed the recommendation to use a blade whose teeth were at least vertical and even slightly backwards. The teeth on this blade are -5 degrees angled and are just perfect for making clean cuts after a few hundred cuts there are still no burrs or edges to clip or file off.The blade is still amazing sharp and not missing a single tooth. If you need to cut non-ferrous materials like aluminum or copper, do yourself a favor and get a blade specifically designed for the job. Twin City is the winner!
