This item is strong and huge and will stay dry. Super easy to secure. Also comes with clips to make it look like a gym bag so you can carry it in and out of the car. Drove from Miami to Houston and ran in the rain a few times and not a drop got in. The belts make noise in turbulent winds. This problem is easily solved by wrapping a paracord or elastic cord in a spiral around each of the straps (like a corkscrew), breaking up the turbulent air and thus eliminating the noise. It's hard to tell from the pictures, but each strap has a red and blue elastic. Noise aside, that's fine.
