Works great with a 7500w Powermate generator. The output of my generator is only 6000 watts.
Easily replaceable brush wires identified and voltage easily adjustable. Once the RPM is correctly set to 60Hz. On the back there is a small blue potentiometer that you can use to set the output voltage. Works perfectly. I ordered a replacement part which is nice to have as it is the alternator protection and probably the only electronics on my alternator.
