Google pay, the future of contactless transactions.

experience;
It is exiting when one of the biggest tech company, owning the biggest search engine could own an online payment system. With there experience and proficiency in developing a user friendly interface for its product, it has shown efforts in developing the Google pay with a lot of style and professionalism.
It started out as basic replacement for debit and credit card, and it has undergone different stages of development and updates since the last fio
With the new p2p features, it is possible to split utility bills between roommates with easily, etc, and also see who has paid and who is yet too. It has been helpful between my bro and his roomie in the US.
My various experience when i use it in the stores to make transaction was smooth and was without any flaws. I simply unlock and hold my phone to the terminal until check mark appears.
It allows you link your bank details and your credit card, which will automatically send your transactions and allows you manage your spending. a
It is a really useful and cool app to try as tht are planning to launch some new features, where you can make contactless transactions in gas stations and also pay for parking space in more than 400 locations. It is secured and a very trustworthy company.

Pros
  • The google assistant make it more interesting and fun which enables you set reminders to send or receive payments, which can be automated, but I prefer to review it. This has been useful for my business.
  • Funds are being processed so quickly, usually before the next working day, unlike other apps(phonepe) I have used which will take more than two days. You have to contact support a times.
Cons
  • Not available for use in Nigeria, only US and India.
  • Iphone users don't have there version.
  • There is risk of loosing when you lost your phone or when it gets stolen.

Risk is minimal when device is lost because account is protected by PIN Code which you must enter everytime you open device. Still an easy payment facility and biggest advantage is bank OTP authentication which means no one else can install on any other device. Still there are few bugs that require improvements for making payments but ease to use us what most users like about GPay.
