Review on 📢 Hella 013410011 Black 12/24V Air BX Horn Kit - 1-Tone by Vincent Lott

The Hella twin tube horn is a good product but not great. It would be nice to include connectors in the product as many people won't have them. Luckily I did, so no extra trip to the car zone. In addition, it is well packaged and the instructions are suitable for almost everyone. I assume that the device will last a long time. Installation is not too difficult. It was a replacement for a broken horn on a diesel pushrod motorhome so there was really a lot of room up front. I could have chosen as many places as I wanted. Space can be limited in some smaller vehicles, but this is a fairly small and versatile package. I mounted both horns on a piece of aluminum about 3" x 6" x 1/8" and then attached the aluminum piece, I think this is a good plan for many installations. There was a lot of tubing and it was pretty easy soapy water helps pull the hoses in. I installed the compressor and relay close together to keep the wiring short. I used 10 gauge wire for the inlet and outlet, and ground. Note that the horn wire ( 12v) is hot when pressed) or negative (earthed when pressed). Each has different instructions. Fitted and plugged in, the horns worked the first time a little high for my liking but that's what you get with these little horns More than just enough but less than impressive Recommended if you don't want to scare truckers!
