I have a jumping gecko with a very large living space (at least for a leopard gecko). It is 36 x 16 x 12 inches. I have covered most of the floor in my terrarium with linoleum, but the part where a heating mat is gets quite hot, so I use a piece of this material under the skin. This way Harpo can lie comfortably on the heat source whenever he wants. And he does. I added another piece on the other side of the bottom to give him some softness if he wants it. It is very easy to cut and wash.
