I knit a thicker blanket for the colder months. The plaid is mainly used as a "sofa blanket" but can also serve as a nice warm bed with Fossil and Fisherman. The yarn is smooth and thick and easy to crochet. It can be machine washed and tumble dried on a gentle cycle. Fossil is a mix of grey, warm taupe and fisherman's cream that goes well with most neutral color schemes. I've also used solid cream fisherman thread in large sections for a neutral fisherman look.
