Works like a champ!

I ordered this starter Saturday morning around 10am and the next day Sunday at 2pm it was in my hands. Good service! The starter motor was a perfect match for my 2002 Chevy Tahoe with a 5.3 liter engine. It revs the engine faster than the old starter ever thought it would. It wasn't much fun to install, but removing the front wheel and inner fender on the passenger side will definitely help. After removing the 2 screws holding the old starter in place you can pull it out and then lower it low…

Truck starts like new!

My 2001 Silverado's starter gave up a fight at just over 100,000 miles. I really only drive around town so this starter has probably had more cycles than a typical 100,000 mile truck. In the last two years it has taken me two to three movements to start the engine. I thought it was because my fuel pump was worn out until I replaced the starter with this new AC delco. I was running some errands and when I tried to start it at my last stop it wouldn't start. I figured maybe I shouldn't have gone with that starter but just went to the Chevy dealership's starter and paid the $555 they asked for. I came back to look at the reviews again. I saw what e-Dude posted. When my Suburban returned to my AAA home I checked…

Good starter but not as quiet as the original that came with the Suburban

I have a 2001 Suburban 5.3L V8. The original starter lasted almost 20 years. Recently, turning the engine has become slower and more difficult. First you think of the battery, alternator or cable, but they all pass the test. I'm used to the starter just disengaging and you either hear a click from the starter solenoid or no click, but you do hear the starter winding noise. In my case it was just a start. Thanks to a one-day delivery from Revain, the starter arrived just in time. When I tried to
